Accurate information

Profile ownership

Your profile must be created for use only by you. You may not sell access to youraccount or otherwise transfer account to someone else. If the profile is created by an agency, jointly with an agency or by a private person providing matchmaker services, a document must be provided together with a copy of your ID (an agreement with the agency or the person, certified by a notary) giving the right to perform certain actions.

Photos

Photos that you upload must be an accurate representation of how you look today. They cannot be more than one year old.

You must never submit an image that:

Contains any other person than you
Contains nudity
Is sexually suggestive
Contains contact information of any form
Are inappropriate or offensive
Contains children/minors
Is subject to the copyright of another person
Is digitally edited in a way (including filters on snapchat and other apps) that alters your appearance

Violation of any of these ruleswill always result in your photo being removed. In most cases, it willalso result in your account being terminated.

Communication with other members

When speaking to other members on the site, you must never be abusive, obscene, profane, offensive, threatening,discriminatory, harassing or racially offensive. You may not send any messages of a sexual nature on this website. It is also prohibited to send spam, messages promoting services or products, or messages providing any links to external websites for the purpose of promoting a service or product. We will report communication illegal communications to the appropriate Law Enforcement Agency.

Safety

Members who do not follow our safety guidelines put themselves and other members at risk.You must always look after your account in a safe and secure manner. This includes following our Community Guidelines.

Sending money

Never send money or provide your financial information to another memberonthis website. If anyone asks for money for any reasons, tries to make you pay for shipping for a gift for you, or tries to obtain your financial information, report them to us immediately at

Solicitation

You are not allowed to use these services to distribute, promote, or otherwise publish any material to solicitate for funds or advertise. Doing so will result in your account being terminated.

Site security and access

Never share your password or allow anyone else to access your accountwithout the presence of legal documents stating that they have permission to do this. You must not post or transmit material which contains viruses or other computer codes, files, or programs which are designed to limit or destroy the functionality of any computer software or hardware.

Inactivity

Verification guidelines explained

Why do we require verification by ID for all members?

We do this for several reasons. The main reason is your safety. Unfortunately, the online dating industry is known to have a lot of problems with scams and dishonest people trying to get to your wallet. By requiring every member to provide a form of identification, you can be sure that every person you meet on this site really are who they say they are. If anyone should ever ask you for money or gifts, please report them immediately. We have their identification papers on file and will contact the local authorities.

Secondly, we want you to be sure that every member's age and place of residence is 100% correct. Sadly, people often talk or chat for months before discovering that the information given on a profile was incorrect.

Why do we require a photo with a keycode verification?

If you have ben on other dating sites you might have experienced that the photos on a member's profile do not represent how they look in real life. Once you start communicating you realize that they actually look 10 years older, or even worse, the photos were not of them at all. Our staff checks every photo on every profile and compare them to the uploaded photo with keycode. Any photo that does not match a member's true appearance is deleted. We also have a strict policy of not allowing photos older than 12 months on our site.

Why do you need my phone number?

We ask for your phone number to be able to do random security checks. If we are unsure about a member's identity one of our staff will request a short video call.

What if I do not want to upload a copy of my passport or other ID?

We understand that you might be reluctant to do this. But, all documents uploaded to our site are stored on a secure server in the UK, and we are a Norwegian owned and operated company. Any document you upload are only used for verification purposes. It will never be shared with anyone. Still not comfortable with this process? We do provide other methods of verification. Just complete step 2 and 3 which are uploading a photo of yourself with the keycode provided and entering your phone number. After this you will receive a very short call from a member of our staff who will ask you to show them your ID.

What is the point of such strict verification policies?
